Our Mission

The DBSA South Floridas envisions wellness for people living with mood disorders (depression and bipolar disorder). DBSA provides hope, help, support, and education to improve the lives of people who have mood disorders.


Your donations help DBSA SF to operate and grow while providing programs and services to people living with mood disorders. All donations are done via Zelle to donate@dbsasouthflorida.org. Please include in the description "DBSA South Florida Donation".

Supporting DBSA South Florida Means Supporting Your Community

The Wellness Wheel Program Model


Target 8 Domains of Wellness (Emotional, Spiritual, Intellectual, Physical, Environmental, Financial, Occupational, Social) with a holistic approach.


  • Inputs: Peer facilitators, program coordination, technology and reporting tools.
  • Activities: Peer-Led support group facilitation, discussions, education, exercises, workshops and events, process automation and data analysis.
  • Outputs: Sessions delivered, attendance by group and chapter, wellness domains addressed, technology tools implementations and reports analysis.
  • Outcomes: Improved engagement, increased wellness awareness, program technology innovation, program intelligence and operational agility.
  • Impact: Sustainable peer support and technology access, mental health improvement, reach audiences and regions in need and data driven decisions.
